Essay - street crimes

Street Crimes

Most street crimes are rarely committed by big criminal organizations but its effects have a strong influence in society. In this essay, I'll examine some causes and give solutions for this problem.

Unemployment is one of the main causes.Unemployment leads to crime such as pick-pocketing.Unemployed people have no jobs, no money while they still live with their own needs and responsibility for their family.Sometimes, they want to earn money in a short time and by any means so they do something wrong even crime.

In addition, lack of education also results in street crime. In poor families, children can't study or leave school before graduating because their parents don't have enough money to pay tuition. These children can grow up without full education. They can't find good jobs or they become unemployed.Besides, lack of education also leads to less understanding.People without a good attitude do anything they want. For example,in daily news, sometimes, train accidents happen;someone in the trains was injured because people who were outside threw stones at the windows for fun.Their act shows their superficial understanding. They didn't care what would happen to passenger in the train. They did what they liked. This also results from lack of good education.

We have looked at these causes. Now,I'll give some solutions to solve this problem.

Firstly, the government need to solve the unemployment problem. The government can expand economic programs such as : developing labor export. This help unemployed people have chance to change their lives.Reducing the population is also important.Because overpopulation is a burden in a country,it leads to unemployment, lack of education.

Secondly, the government should encourage education and give benefit to poor people.By education, people can be improved their understanding and their attitude become better.Especially, the government need to invest in the education fund. This will help poor students have the chance to study. They can find good jobs after graduating.

In conclusion, street crime is a social problem. It can be more worse and become a burden on society. It results from a lack of social care. With the right solutions, street crime can be reduced.

Essay - Problems in Karachi

Problems in Karachi

Karachi is the biggest city in Pakistan and also one of the most thickly populated cities in the world. Its population has increased rapidly and accordingly has given rise to many social problems. People of this metropolis are becoming more and more concerned about solving these serious problems, some of which are discussed below.

The ever-increasing rush of heavy traffic on the roads is resulting in heavy loss of human life. One day or the other, people suffer form accidents due to reckless driving. Some lose their vehicles and some go to the police. This is due to lack of civic sense in the citizens and violation of traffic rules. Traffic jams, road quarrels, untidiness and damage of public property is also a result of this problem. The government has not done any planning to control this situation in the past two decades.

In the same manner, the government has never emphasized upon population distribution. As a result, slum areas are rapidly being built, where poor labour lives. The disordered development of small houses is spoiling the outlook of the city, as well as creating problems of illegal electric connections, water supply and pollution. The authorities have failed to reclaim the locations from these people.

The academic career of children in Karachi is unpredictable due to lack of good schools and institutions. The need of recreational institutions, parks and play grounds is also felt at times and most of all joblessness creates problems for poor people.

Another problem faced by the citizens of the city is the frequent power breakdowns. Every other day, K.E.S.C cuts down the electric supply without notice. This becomes a great hurdle for industries and professional that use electric machinery for their work. Disturbance and shortage of water supply is also a cause of discomfort among the citizens. Sometimes, the dirty and unfiltered water becomes a major factor in food poisoning, which usually takes place on festive occasions, when demand of water in the city increases. Any measure to improve the supply of filtered water has also not been adopted by the government. Problems due to improper drainage system are also becoming a matter of concern among the people. The alarming in crease in the disorderliness of drainage lines is posing serious threats for people, especially in poor areas. Filth and dirt runs down a channel by the footpath and children play over it. We have malaria, cholera and dysentery still destroying our children because such things exist.

The attitude of beggars in Karachi is the most irritating problem. They are worthless idlers robbing good-natural people. It has become their regular practice to crowd public spots and cheat people. The adverse effects of begging problem are noticeable in sum areas.

There are too many dirty and ownerless dogs roaming about in the streets of Karachi. They spread many diseases and sometime become a danger by injuring people.

Lack of environmental care among people and drivers of public service vehicles is giving rise to pollution problems. Dust fills the air in most of the roads all the time. Improper turned cars fill the atmosphere with deadly smoke at hours of rush, which causes disease among the policemen and common public. The blowing of pressure horns is always there, deafening the ears.

Karachi is also often subjected to terrorist activities. Bomb blasts and firings at public spots are resulting in great loss of human life. The terrorists deserve no less than capital punishment. It is the duty of the police to intensify their investigation to stop such activities.

For the well to do class, life in Karachi may be fascinating, but for other citizens it is a center of drawbacks. It is only through the concentrated efforts of each and every person, including the members of law-enforcing and administrative agencies, can we overcome these serious problems of the metropolis.

Essay - My Aim in life

My Aim in life
Most people in the world have some ambitions in life. A petty merchant has an ambition to become a big business man, a clerk to be a high officer, a student to be a doctor or engineer. Some desire for wealth, some desire for fame and reputation. A proper aim in life keeps a person shining and glowing in his future life.

My aim in life is neither to collect money this or by that way nor for fame. It is my desire to become a well qualified doctor or a scientist. I do not just wish to be an ordinary doctor who spends his times in his laboratory trying to find out new drugs and medicines to remove the suffering of millions of people. The world remembers with thankfulness the name of the man who gave to the world vaccination. The world will remember forever the man who gave us penicillin.
As a doctor it is my real wish to server the badly suffering humanity too. Our country is still under development and it has become necessary for all of us, especially for doctors to acheive sound progress in the field of new drugs and medicines, And for the prosperity and solidarity of pakistan we should work hard with spiritual zeal and zeast.

I have an ambition to do something in this world so great as the doctors and the courages founders did in the past. I would like to give the world some new drugs and injections that will cure some of the many disease that people are still suffering from.

In my opinion, wealth, fame and any other kind of materialistic gain are hollow and baseless if earned through unfair means. In my ambition, it is great wish to help the suffering people. For lawful earnings it will be my foremost dut to server the humanity, by going to the rural areas of this under developed country in order to help the poor and humble people for their happiness and entire satisfaction.

Essay - My last day at school

My last day at School
The twelfth of February 2012, was my last day at school. I was full of mingled feelings of joy and sorrow. I was happy at the idea of freedom and preparatory holidays for full one month. I was sad at the thought of parting from my teachers, friends and Alma Mater.

We were asked to come to school at 2 p.m. on that day. All the students of the 10th class were well-dressed. Everybody appeared at his best. First of all, we were photographed. Then we had a sumptuous feast. It was given by the students of the IX class. All the teachers also were invited to the feast. We enjoyed it most heartily.

The feast was followed by songs and speeches. In their speeches, the boys made a solemn promise to work hard and keep up the glorious traditions of the school. They assured the teachers that they would never forget their paternal love and kindness.

They said that they would always love their school. They would be prepared to make every sacrifice for the School. They would never do anything unworthy of a gentleman. They would never tarnish the fair name of the school. The parting songs were very touching. They moved me to tears. Then a boy of the 10th class read out an address to the Headmaster.

The Headmaster rose amidst cheers and gave a suitable reply to the address. All listened to him with rapt attention. There was a pin- drop silence. He "Boys, make the best of the time at your disposal. Be prepared for the worst and hope for the best."

He exhorted the boys to act, move and behave in such a manner that they could all proudly say, "Here are our jewels, here are our gems." He wished us, the best of luck and the best of success. He blessed us saying that success might attend our footsteps wherever we went.

His last words were, "Go out as torch-bearers of light and knowledge. Go out to serve your, country and fellowmen. Assert yourself. Go ahead and God will help you."

Department of the school offered up a prayer for our success in the examination. It was followed by actual parting. The teachers stood in a line. We bowed low to all our teachers, paid them our last respects and homage, got their blessings and then parted with heavy hearts.

Essay - My Beloved Country Pakistan

My Beloved Country Pakistan

Pakistan is a beautiful country. It is the land of the pure and the land of dreams, where each day the sun rises to mark a new beginning. Founded back on the 14th of August 1947, it is 65 years old. When Pakistan first came into being, many people said it would not survive. However, it is true that our forefathers faced several problems and had to make many sacrifices, but today, as the 21st century progresses, Pakistan has surely come over hurdles and made developments in many fields of life.

Pakistan is a country that possesses a store of talent; however the problem arises when it comes to using that talent, as for many years now, Pakistan has been facing serious issues that include terrorism. Terrorism has led to a rising death toll and destruction of homes, markets, businesses, etc. the constant blast of guns and bombs has instilled a fear in the hearts of the people.

One of the major problems that Pakistan is currently facing is the load shedding issue of electricity and gas. It has resulted in absolute chaos. Industries are collapsing, people are facing the evils of unemployment and there is general disorder in the country. Businesses are also facing closing issues. It has resulted in inflation as production of products is low and therefore it has increased demand rates where sufficient materials are not being provided. Load shedding is also causing a menace to the domestic sector as now we have to work by candlelight, generators, U.P.S etc. the studies of students are affected badly and something needs to be rapidly done to solve this problem.

It is very much possible that politicians and politics is the reason for this. In these modern times, it is hard to find people who are sincere to their country, and mostly politicians focus on gathering money for their means. As the sense of responsibility diminishes, the economy is speedily racing towards a failure. The currency rate is falling due to inflation and daily use products are running out of the reach of poor and middle class Pakistani citizens. However, in light of all things, the media remains independent and helps to portray the voice of the people and spread know-how and awareness about corruption amongst the masses.

Using simpler and more comprehensive terms, right now, Pakistan is facing major crisis. Its current situation is pitiable and it hurts to see the land that was won after so much struggle going down slowly in ashes. Pakistan can be saved however, not only if the government takes the responsibility to do it, but also if the common people grope the rays of hope, join hands and work together to play their own roles. The country that is today failing to make its mark can once again rise to soaring heights with our hard work, prayers and wishes. We need to stop thinking negatively about it and work towards the betterment of this nation.

Essay - Blessing of science

Blessing Of Science
Just about 6,000 years ago, men lived in a cave lie dressed himself in skins. He fed himself by hunting and fishing. He had to make with his ownhands everything he needed. He went long distances on his own legs. His world was narrow, dark, difficult and dangerous. Modern man lives a vastly different life. He is comfortably and elegantly housed, fed and clothed. His world is broad, bright, easy and reasonably safe. Old-tune physical exertion is no longer necessary for him.
It is science that has brought about this “brave new world.” This life of leisure and pleasure. In so far as science has done this, it is blessing. Let us lint took at the bright side of the medal.

Science has made wonderful machines. It has discovered marvelous energies which run these machines. Man needs no longer toil and mod with his hands and legs. The machine does most of his work for him. It gives him leisure. The dream of a push-button existence has tome true for him.

Distance has been annihilated. Modern transport and communication have made the world shrink almost to nothing. Men and things and news and views can girdle the globe with lightning speed. Inter-planetary travel is now a certainty. We are now on the eve of colonizing new planets.

Our lives hare become healthier, Modern hygiene, sanitation, medicine and surgery are conqueringmore and more physical and mental ills day by day. No disease is beyond cure now. The longevity of life has increased. The quinine has finished malaria arid glucose injections put a new life in a dying man. Surgery has created wonders.
Science also provides entertainmentsto millions of people. Cinema entertains us and radio and television provides recreation. The production of food has increased. Industry has been revolutionized. Starvation has been controlled. In short, the scientific progress is amazing.

It is an established fact that science has made valuable contribution to the development of human Intellect. Material civilization has also made a wonderful stride. But the moral development of man or moral values has been totally neglected. Science has provided us with a huge stock of know ledge but unfortunately it is not being put to right use. As a result of this, we have miserably failed to achieve the desired object. We have more knowledge and skill but less of character and self-control. Scientific development has out-stripped our moral or spiritual progress. It has made us selfish, greedy and cruel. The machine has made us materialistic. The existing condition without a balance will make our lives miserable with a horrible future. So, Lord Tennyson laments that knowledge has come but wisdom lingers.
