Letter - reckless driving of buses on the roads of Karachi.

Write a letter to the editor of a newspaper regarding the reckless driving of buses on the roads of Karachi.

The Editor,
Daily dawn,
Karachi.

Dear Sir,
Through the courtesy of your columns, i wish to voice my feelings on a longlasting evil of our society. I shall be highly obliged if you will kindly give space for the following few lines in the columns of your esteemed daily.
The drivers of our public buses not seen to attach any value to human life or safety. They drive their vehicles with recklessness, which results in loss of lives. They drive at high speed, which is not allowed on the city roads, they take turn suddenly, and they overtake other buses in a most careless manner. No overtaking is to be allowed on bridges or narrow roads but these drivers did not care for any such laws. When it comes to racing with another bus of the same route, the driver move at break neck speed. These criminal activities must be stopped. The police authority must see to it that there are constable at various points on the city roads to check the speed.

Karachi, 1st January 2013

Your truly
A citizen
