Essay- Service to Humanity is Service to God

* SERVICE TO HUMANITY IS SERVICE TO GOD
Service to Humanity is Service to God

Service to humanity means attempt to help the needy, the handicapped the weaks, and the desperates. This quality distinguishes a man from brute Animals live themself. They are always concerned with their needs, their urgings and their requirements, his comforts and his benefits is not better than an animal.

The holy book instruct us repeatedly to serve humanity. Our Holy Prophet(S.A.W.W) has not only instructed us verbally but has shown us practically the importance of serving humanity. His holy life is full of such incidents where he had sacrificed his comforts, his needs and his benefits to give comforts to others, to satisfy their needs and bring a little joy to them.

We should not think that to serve humanity is a sacrifice on our part. We are indebted to the society for what we receive from it and it is our duty to repay the debt back. We can repay it back only through social service. Social service is not only the act of kindness but it is a social obligation, a religious duty and repayments of debt. Opportunity for social service to do good to others are ample. It needs only realization of our duty and a will to perform it.

Examples to social and humanitarian service are abundant for our guidance. Our holy Prophet and his holy companions have set examples of service to humanity. Hazrat Abu Bakar(R.A), Hazrat Umar(R.A), Hazrat Usman(R.A) and Hazrat Ali(R.A) used to help the needy, the weak and handicapped persons to feed them, to milk for them and do other service. Hazrat Usman(R.A) gave his corn to hungry people. Hazrat Fatima(R.A) gave all the breads she had to a hungry person for three continuous day and she, her sons and her husband Hazrat Ali(R.A) had to keep fast for three days continuously without food.

Service to humanity is self-rewarding. Apart from the rewards it would bring after death it would brings reward during one's life. It elevates mind, heart and spirit. It brings spiritual satisfaction. It trains one to rise above one's pretty self and to cry out the commandments of God. No happiness is so profound as the happiness one gets through service to humanity.

Essay - Health is Wealth

* HEALTH IS WEALTH* GOOD HEALTH IS A BLESSING

We always hear that health is wealth but never try to think what is health. Health is not the state of being fatty, fleshy, weighty or plump. It is the state of being physically and mentally well and having the ability to work and labour to the utmost.

An unhealthy man is unable to work and it is work that brings joy in life. Always lying in bed makes life dull and uninteresting. Such a man lives at the mercy of others. His in-activity keeps him devoid of the real pleasure - the pleasure of work and an active life. I have seen gloomy and unfortunate persons who yearn for moving a little distance only but this pleasure has been refused to them for not taking care of their health.

A healthy man enjoy life with his wife, children and friends. He enjoys his simple and hearty meals and eats what he can endure. A unhealthy man is devoid of the pleasure of a good and certifying meals.Health is a gem and must be taken care of. If health is lost no money can purchase it and no authority can restore it.Tired of their ill health people even prefer to suicide. It is cowardly to kill oneself, no doubt, but life for such a person becomes unendurable.

Early rising, early going to bed, working honestly, doing regular exercises and living a natural life will keep healthy and prolong life.

Essay - Street crimes

Street crimes, cases and remedies

Street crimes like snatching of mobiles phones, cars, gold ornaments etc. Are burning question nowadays, not only in Pakistan but all around the globe. Increasing lawlessness in cities become the alarming problem everywhere. Despite debates numerous on the issue the problem remain unsolved. The majority of people are still unaware of thermo cause of this menace.

The first thing that should be noted is that street crimes are different from traditional crimes in the sense that they are mostly not committed by professional criminals. Researches have shown that the people who commit such crimes are simple native looking souls who tired of prolong poverty indulge in such activities.

The main reason for this is the widening difference between rich and poor. In the past the rich people helped or cared the poor peoples, which created the strong bond between the two classes of the society. Unfortunately, the situation is reversed. The ethical values seems to have faded away. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer day by day.

An other reason of street crimes is the habit of showing off. When the lower class people look at the magnificent jewelry, beautiful cars, brand new advance mobile sets, there heart throbs for there luxuries, which they cannot afford. Thus they resort to illegal means attaining there amenities.

The most important reason of street crimes is the ratio of unemployment because since 1992, there has been no appointment either through Sindh public service commission or an adhoc basis. Inflation and low salaries to the police force produce some accomplies in the street crime. A good majority of Pakistani people live below poverty lines that also faster the crimes.

In order to bring an end this evil we must educate our society because only educate and literate can make up a strong and peaceful nation. We must also build a strong family fabric. The parents should give time to there children and make them aware of the negative effects of these crimes.

In order to discourage the people from opting this way of earning we need to have a check on our spending. Instead of wasting money on extravagant clothes and shoes, we should save our money for a rainy day.

Surveillances cameras should be installed at all street corners to assist the police for catching the culprits. The black sheep with in the police force should be detected and serious action should be taken against them.
For complete wiping out the social evils from our society, we need to revert back to the basics of Islam. If the golden principles of equality, modernation, justice and peace are adopted, it would soon show the good results. May god helps up in our fight against the evil or this world with honesty and sincerity.

Bureaucracy of armed forces, civil servants, judges, lawyers and general public be briefed about basic duties of a person towards his fellowmen and fear of Allah be revoked in their hearts as they are accountable to Him for every misdeed we have to be optimistic at every step of live, InshaAllah, every thing will be all right with the passage of time.

Essay - HAPPIEST DAY of my Life

*MY MEMORABLE DAY OF MY LIFE
*HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE

Happy days are not infrequent in life. A day is happy when some small desire is fulfilled, a dream is realized and a hope is materialize. A happy day is lost in the jumble of time but the happiest day is never forgotten. It remains fresh and lovely in the mind and is thrilling when thought of.

It was the 6th of August, the day the Board was to declare my SSC results. I had worked hard during the year and had done well at the examination but still i was nervous, anxious and uneasy. Hope and desperation got hold of me in turn. At one minute I was sure of my success and at the other I feared failure. Time passed slowly that day minutes seemed to be years.

All of sudden my younger brother rushed in with the newspaper in his hand. I snatched it and began to search my roll number among those who had secured Grade A. My heart sank as it was not there. Then I searched further but my roll number was not among the students who has got grade B and C. I burst into tears and felt so weak that I could not stand. My younger brother suggested to search in list of student securing A-1 grade. I did so and I shouted with glee to find my roll number there. My mother came running from kitchen to see what had happened. When she came to know about my result she prostrated on the floor and thanked God with tears running down her cheek.

The atmosphere changed suddenly. Everybody seemed glad. The news soon reached my friends and relatives. They began to come to congratulating me with boxes of sweets. Some of my relative gave me money. My father was at his office. My younger brother telephoned him. He was overjoyed and came home smiling. He gave me a thousand rupees note and embrassed me.

In the evening my mother called my relatives and my friends to dine. She had prepared tasty dishes. We all enjoyed the feast, talked and laughed. In the feast, I appeared to be some one of importance and I beamed with glee. It was my happiest day and I will never forget the thrill, the exhilaration and the elevation I felt that day.

Essay - LAST DAY AT SCHOOL

MY LAST DAY AT THE SCHOOL

It was my last day at my beloved School. I was sad and melancholic that day. The very idea that I was going to be separated from my beloved School, the loving teachers and friends pained me. It pinched me to think that from the next day I would not be in a position to roam about there, sit under the shady neem tree, standing in the courtyard and gossip with my friends.

As I reached the School gate, tears come to my eyes. The School building, the playground, the trees in the School courtyard, the class room and even the School library seemed to whisper to me how they would miss me. As I approached, the neem tree under the courtyard under which I used to sit with my friends talking and laughing, appeared to me to be grieved at my breaking the long association with it. One by one the past incidents associated with School flashed in my mind.

I entered my class room. My friends were present there and were talking, Soon the School bell rang and my class teacher entered the room. He too was pained to say us good bye. He wished us good luck and expected to be prosperous in our days to come. He then handed our admit cards over to us and departed with sad eyes.

Then we went to School hall. A farewell party was arranged by the boys of IX. The hall was well decorated with flowers, leaves of trees and small flags. We sat down on the chairs and talked to each other about the coming examination. Soon the head master and all the teachers arrived there and the function began.
At first our monitor stood up and thanked the teachers and the headmaster on our behalf for the love and concern they had shown during our stay at the School. Then our class teacher addressed us and told us if he or other teachers were occasionally harsh to us that was only for our benefit. Then our Head Master stood up and wished us good luck in our future. After the address of the Head Master, we were entertained with sweets and tea.We returned at home with sad hearts at the idea of leaving the School, the teachers and the happy school life for ever. We knew that in this world people meet to part and things come in our life to leave.

Essay - Advantages and disadvantages of computer

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF COMPUTER
Fairly acknowledge as the eighth wonder of the world. Computer have brought a tremendous revolution in every walk of life and are expected to open more vast fields due to the dexterity of those who design hardware, these who design software and those who develop application programs.

The scientist applied it to the prediction of weather earthquakes, and storms, controlling of satellites and controlling of atomic reactions in reactors and else where. Engineers have not lagged behind. They use computers in designing cars, aeroplanes, ships, buildings bridges and tools.

In the business world, computer are playing great part. They are used to word processing, record keeping, inventory controlling, payroll processing, account keeping, auditing, stock marketing and ticket reservations.
Bank now use them to keep records day-by-day transactions, keeping accounts and managing over al investment. For entertainment purposes, computer are now used to play complex games, I.Q games, 3d games and stimulation games.

Lawyer and police recognize the usefulness of computer soon. They are now used to keep records of criminal, record of the court and record of the decisions.

In the field of education computer are being used to play important roles. They are used to learn and solve statical problems, differential and integral problems and complex mathematical problems.

Graphics also realize the utility of computers and used them in preparing titles or slides for commercial televisions in preparing cartoons films and preserving painting and drawing maps.

What make computers advantageous are their speed, capability to perform multiple tasks at a time, accuracy, diligence, running ability for longer period, perform variety of tasks, automatic operations and decision making capability.

But computer dont have only merits. As all man made things have their limitations, weakness and short coming, so are the computers wrought with them. Firstly they have inflexibility. It understand only symbols. Secondly they need detailed instruction to work. Thirdly they are costly and their peripheral devices are far most costly than the equipment themselves. Fourthly the cost of maintenance is also high. Fifthly the cost of operation in terms of staff, and material is expensive. Sixthly in particular circumstances stored data may be completely lost. Seventhly they are susceptible to destructive programs called virus. Eightly they need extra care in handling and maintenance.

Despite the aforesaid frailties, foibles and faults they are tainted with. Computers are widely acclaimed, intensively used and bindly relied upon. Their applications are increasing in various files and they are expected to do services so far not imagined by man.

Accident in Karachi are frequent and most of them are fatal. In this city life is very cheap. Nobody cares for the safety of others. The bus driver, the taxi drivers and those who travel on motor cycles and scooters drive recklessly uncareful of the result.

One day I was waiting for a bus at Numaish. Suddenly, I saw two buses coming from Saddar. Both were of route 4A and were competing with each other, running speedily side by side. All of a sudden there was a big bang and the two buses over turned crashing a few motor cycles and a car with the occupants.

One of the buses was lying on the side it had the exist. It was difficult to take part out of it. It was difficult to bring the deads and injured out. The glass infront of the driver was smashed and the deads and injured were taken out through the opening.

The road was closed. Dead bodies drenched in blood and the groaning injured men was laid on the road. Nobody could move an injured person without the permission of the Police. A few persons who were still alive were rushed to Civil Hospital and Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Essay - HOW I PASSED MY SUMMER VACATION

HOW I PASSED MY SUMMER VACATION

Being the best part of the year, I always love summer vacations. A student is free to do anything he likes during these couple of months. He can go to his relations, can take part in all sorts of indoor and outdoor games, or can go to other city as well as abroad country if he can afford.

Last year our school closed on 15th May and my father chalked out the program to go to see my elder brother who lived in Manchester. After getting visas we started one morning by Emirates Air Lines. We reached Manchester after a flight of ten hours, arriving at Manchester Airport at about 4 in the evening. We came out through the green passage where my brother and his wife were waiting for us. We reached his house and after tea slept for hours.

The next day we went to American Park. Here we enjoyed alot, we sat in mini train, embarked a steamer and enjoyed the visit by taking part in every kind of items such as Merry-go-round, swings, horror show, wild water log flume, cork screw roller coaster etc.

One day we went to see the famous Stockholm Zoo. One night, we went to see lights of Black pool. It is a very interesting place with all kinds of amusements. At the gate of the amusement park a doll model of an old woman of life size sat on a chair and laugh loudly. She continued to laugh always without a pause. The park covers more than fifty acres. We could not see all stalls due to shortage of time. I have even not dreamed of that wonders I saw there.

During our stay at Manchester we visited many places. Alton tower, Railway Museum at York, the airport of Manchester, the old part of Yorkshire, the great hanging bridge, the great Shopping Center at Sheffield interest us most.

Our vacation was coming to an end so with sad heavy hearts, we returned to Pakistan.

Essay - Use And Abuse of Television

USE AND ABUSE OF TELEVISION

The television has become very popular now-a-days due to its three characteristic. Firstly it presents the motion pictures of the persons televised as well as their utterances. Secondly, the viewers feels to be a part of the program himself. Thirdly the programs influence the viewers. In every country, therefore people prefer, to watch the television, to over other pastimes.

Another use of the television is to educate people. In the most advance countries they use it to educate, to teach, to instruct, and to impact scientific, technical and other knowledge. Another use of television is to convey the information to the public. News service show them what is happening at other places. Weather forcasts, warning of approaching storms and comments on international problems are presented by it. This informative aspect of the televisions goes far to make public aware of national and international problems.
Unfortunately the television is prone to be abuse also. The first and the most important abuse of the television dramas and picture show scenes of violence, shooting and killings. This affects the immature minds. New methods to kill, cheat and to blow up are taught by these pictures and dramas which the innocent boys learn to practice.

Some television programs show western culture comprising of almost naked girls and boys indulging in dirty actions. Indulgence in free sex, and immoral actions in public is not something bad in western societies. Such actions are part of there culture. Islam discards such activities and prohibits immoral and dirty acts in order to save us from social problems and disease like AIDS.

Another important thing that foreign programs are doing is that they are leading our young generation astray. They are damaging our national culture, national traditions and religious outlook. I was surprised to hear in a marriage ceremony the remarks of a very small girl who asked her mother how they had completed the marriage ceremony without the bride and bridegroom going round the fire. Perhaps her parents watched Indian films and drama serials . Is not this a pity?

Essay - Picnic at SeaSide

A PICNIC
A PICNIC AT SEA SIDE

Last summer, my uncle decided to go to Paradise Point for an outing (for picnic). We hired a bus for the entire day and reached their at 8a.m in the morning. We hired a hut there, took our breakfast consisting of toasts, Jam and tea and bought fresh water from some local resident.

Then I, with my cousins, went for a stroll along the shore. We collected shells of different types and colours. We walked of waves, storms, ships, whales and sharks.

After the stroll we decided to bathe but uncle did not allow us. He told us that the sea was high and stormy and it was not advisable to bathe. We sat on the sand by the hut and played ludo for some time. Tired of ludo, we again went for a stroll. We decide to play cricket.

We played cricket for an hour then went to our hut as we were hungry. The lunch was delicious. After lunch we rested for an hour listening to music.

My causin had brought a football. We began to play on the beach. After an hour, with the permission of uncle we entered the sea to bathe. He has given us a rope and ordered us all to hold it during our stay in the water. We were not allowed to go far or to swim. We enjoyed the waves that come after another to drench us.

By that time, the sun had set and it was dark. We decided to return and sat in the bus for the return journey.

Essay - Traffic Problem in karachi

Traffic Problem in Karachi
Karachi is the biggest city of Pakistan. It always under the process of extension. Since Karachi is ever expanding, so are the problem is solved, another problem lies in wait for them.

Transport is one of the major problem in Karachi. In a big city the Karachi, traveling is not very pleasant or easy. Distances are usually long and Karachi travel in buses and mini-buses. The number of buses and mini-buses in Karachi has increased in the recent year but as compared to the need of population the number is still very small.

Now,taxis and rickshaw are there at central place atleast.
But the forces of taxis and rickshaw are too high.Police should check their meters very strictly, they should be forced to travel short distance. They should not be able to over charge the passengers.
the most annoying feature of the transport system in Karachi is the rude behavior of the bus conductor and the driver of rickshaw
and taxis .Again, the traffic in Karachi is now beyond control.Due to reckless driving thousands are lives lost everywhere.Traffic rule are openly violated.

It is very unfortunate that even forty-five on our independence, we have not been able to solve the transport problem in Karachi.

Essay - My aim In Life

My Aim in Life
Every school or college boy dreams of a golden future. He may wish to be a millionaire, to be a political leader, to become an outstanding general and so on. Some of my friends wish to be commercial pilots, some want to be businessmen and some want to join Civil services.

My aim in life is to lighten the suffering of the helpless multitude, the best profession is that of a surgeon's. So I am preparing myself to get myself admitted in a medical college.

I intend to go to U.K or America after my M.B.B.S to specialize in Cardiac Surgery. This field I like because in Pakistan there is a dearth of good heart Surgeons. Since treatment in Pakistan is very costly and cost of operation has reached beyond the means of ordinary people, I have an intension to charge as minimum as possible so the middle class people also enjoy the benefit of my hospital. I plan to meet its expenditure.

I have an aspiration to educate people how they can live free from a lot of heart disease. For this a separate department in the hospital i intend to establish which may take the help of electronic media to approach people and tell them about the precautionary measures the must take.

 May God materialize my ambinations.

Essay - Role of Media In EveryDay Life

Role of Media In EveryDay Life
Today, 'media’ plays an important role in everyday life. Media is the voice of television, radio, films, newspaper and magazines. Today almost every person watch television, reads newspapers and magazines.

If a certain new trend in fashion gets uplift through media. It become popular and the young generation adopt it very soon. If a political or social issue is highlighted through media, people start thinking about in and mostly in the manner as it presented. For example, if confidence building measure and good will between Pakistan and India is promoted through media the common man will also feel its importance, and will thinks in term of friendship between the two countries. If astrology and fore casting is promoted in every Television channel, people think that it is something very important.

As regards advertisement, if a very ordinary product is advertised very frequently on every source of media,it becomes popular.

Thus media plays an important role in our daily life. But,it is needed that we should also think with our own mind about what media tells. Whether it is correct, suitable and true or not. We should not be drifted away by what media imposed on us.

Essay - A THRILLING CRICKET MATCH OR ONE DAY CRICKET MATCH

A THRILLING CRICKET MATCH OR ONE DAY CRICKET MATCH
Pakistanis are sports loving people .This is clear from the large number of cricket and hockey fans who turn up to watch the matches or keep up their T.V. on late in the night.

I am fond of playing cricket and seldom miss any cricket match shown on the television. In the second week of April, I watched the last one day match between Pakistan and West Indies. It was play Delton stadium at Cuba. The match was directly telecast on PTV. It lasted late in the night. Pakistani skipper Wasim Akram won the toss and elected to bat.

Pakistan’s opening batsmen Ramiz Raja and Amir Sohail batted with confidence and gave a good lead to Pakistan. Amir hit 8 four and score his third continuous fifty in one day matches. Arrival of Sajid and Inzimam-ul-Haq pulled up the score to 150 runs for sixth wicket partner ship. We witnessed some very fine cricket. The whole team is out for a total of 240 runs. It was a reasonable score .The blackish fast bowlers share four wicket each.

After the lunch, the West Indies to do up the crease. As usual they play a
windy game. After the fall of their opening pair, Richi Richardson pulled up the score to 150. He was cleaned bowled by Waqar Younus. The tempo of the game slowed down. They were 172 for seven wickets. unexpectedly their tail enders wagged the tail and the last pair put-up 230. Eleven runs were needed for victory. They had score it in last over. The crowd behave badly ,entered the ground and hindered the finish. Still 2 run were needed in the last ball.It was so unpeeling and was done to save their force from defeat.

The match ended in draw as Pakistan was robbed of it two-one victory. The umpiring is fairly good, but the spectators, as usual , behaved against the spirit of the game. One the whole it was good cricket.
